Thai facial massage – ,,Touch of lotus’’
Before the massage beings, we gently clean the skin with a peeling. Facial massage is part of the Ayurvedic purifying and rejuvenating ritual known as Panchakarma.
Massage removes toxins from the body. During the massage, we use natural Ayurvedic oil, selected with accordance to our psychophysical type – dosha. Every single person has a different psychophysical type, it depends on the energy that dominates in it: Vata, Pitta or Kapha. Through massage, we stimulate individual points of the face that affect the functioning of the entire body. As a result of the massage, we stimulate the circulation of blood, lymph and body fluids.
The idea of Ayurvedic medicine, which is based only on natural ways of taking care of health and beauty is rather about prevention than cure. Toxins are the causes of diseases and unhealthy appearance. By removing toxins, the body will start to function properly and the skin will become glowing. Thai facial massage perfectly cleanses and oxygenates the skin.
The face acquires a healthy, youthful appearance and becomes more elastic. Moreover, the wrinkles are smoothed out.
Facial massage with the use of natural ayurvedic oils stimulates the skin for better absorption of beneficial nutrients. After the massage, the skin will absorb the care products and react to makeup way better.

Dry skin – the domination of Vata dosha
People with the domination of the Vata dasha are characterized by fast metabolism, a slim delicate silhouette, dry skin, and dry hair and visible veins on the body. They often have cold hands and feet. They are energetic, fast, intelligent, but sometimes chaotic. Warming oils are a perfect match when it comes to the nature of Vata. We recommend warm sesame oil that has cleansing properties and boosts the blood circulation and almond oil that regenerates the skin. Musky, citrus and cinnamon oils also have warming and moisturizing properties.
Oily skin – the domination of Pitta dosha
People with the domination of Pitta dosha are well-built, have a light skin tone and straight hair. They are characterized by focus, smartness, good metabolism, and the desire to compete. They also have leadership qualities. They often have tantrums and impatience. They do not like high temperatures. Such people do not like hot weather, but they like a good sleep. For such people, the best choice is cooling oils with the addition of herbs such as for instance coconut oil. This is nourishing and regenerating the skin, ensuring its silky softness. It has calming properties and is recommended for massaging problematic skin, and is helpful when it comes to inflammatory conditions. Other oils suitable for the Pitta dosha are linseed oil (high content of fatty acids from the omega-3 group), pink lotus oil from a series of Ayurvedic Khadi oils and well as sunflower, soy, and safflower oils.
Grey, tired skin – the domination of Kapha dosha
This psychophysical type is characterized by slowness, which can be seen, for example, in the way of speaking and walking. Kapha people are calm, understanding and trustworthy. They strive for harmony in their environment, which is why it is difficult to upset them. They do not like the cold, which is similar to Vata. Therefore, oils that are recommended form them are warm oils such as mustard and sesame seeds, preferably with the addition of herbs for instance rosemary. They will warm up the cold nature of Kapha and stimulate cell regeneration. Damaged skin will be best treated with massage with the use of almond oil, that is slowing down the processes of skin limpness. Thanks to the warming oils the skin of Kapha people will return to the state of being nourished, glowing and soft in touch. For people who are not sure what type of psychophysical they represent, the best choice will be sesame oil as well as Cosmoveda oils, which names specify which dosha they are most suitable for.
